NNSW Integrated Care Newsletter – March/April 2017, Issue 07

The Northern NSW Integrated Care Showcase – BETTER TOGETHER was held at the Ballina Surf Club on Friday 10 March.

The progress of 12 local initiatives were displayed to a crowd of over 100 including staff and consumers from the local health district, primary health network, Ministry of Health, Department of Health, NSW Agency for Clinical iInnovation, Ambulance, Aboriginal Medical Services and general practice.

Feedback from the attendees has been positive with a lot of people saying that what they heard on the day was encouraging for integrated care in the local area and others left feeling inspired to get involved and start their own initiatives.

Brad Astill, Executive Director System Performance Support, MoH told us how impressed the Ministry was of the work being done locally and Raj Verma, Director Clinical Program Redesign, ACI encouraged the presenters to keep doing what they are doing as it is great work.

Slides from the day are now available on the NNSW Integrated Care website…
