EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

eClinician Change Manager – HealtheNet

(Only existing staff of the NNSWLHD are eligible to apply)

• PURPOSE OF ROLE

The eClinician Change Manager – HealtheNet will be responsible for the change and adoption work associated with increasing the use of the HealtheNet component of the existing EMR across all clinical staff in the LHD. The occupant will explain the benefits of using this component in the EMR and provide training across all sites in the LHD to improve its adoption.

The HealtheNet component in the EMR (Firstnet and Powerchart etc) provides a view into the national patient centric “My Health Record” and other aspects including discharge summaries from hospitals across NSW and other states. This includes the “Shared Health Summaries” from GPs and various aspects of the personally controlled health record such as medications and advanced care directives.

• ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to use the EMR and implement changes to clinical workflows with clinical staff at all levels from various professional streams
3. The ability to plan and implement clinical training in various settings.
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
5. A valid Drivers’ Licence and the ability to drive across the NNSWLHD.
