Northern NSW is a pioneering region for integrating care and that is an achievement we can all be proud of.
The Ministry of Health asked the LHD to present at the Integrating Care Conference in early April on our local vision for Integrated Care.
Catriona Wilson joined Integrated Care leads from across NSW, participating in the conference hosted by NSW Health. The theme of the Conference is Towards the Quadruple Aim: Scaling Integrated Care.
The Conference will examine ‘best practices’ towards achieving the Quadruple Aim and scaling integrated care.
Day 1- Thursday 4 April included information about successfully scaling integrated care including intensive workshop support for local health economies to scale integrated care initiatives. Day 1 was targeted at people involved in organising and providing Integrated Care in local health economies (LHD/PHN/Primary Care/Social Care/FACS staff).
Day 2- Friday 5 April was for all stakeholders interested in Integrating Care. This day will include international and local speakers covering topics aligned to the quadruple aim. This includes value based approaches, outcome measurement and emerging co-commissioning partnerships.
