Integrated care in action- A day of networking and shared learning during mental health workplace training.
The session was facilitated by Steve Carrigg from the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP). Through innovative projects, local and national partnerships, mental health information, tailored advice, workshops and short courses, RAMHP links people with services ensuring help is found where it is needed.
In attendance was staff from Fred’s Place Tweed Heads, a new service which offers a home and support services for people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Also present was staff from Tweed Community Mental health, Kennedy Drive Medical Centre and students studying welfare and social work.
By building stronger relationships between these services we aim to improve person centred mental health care in the Tweed region.
