Every two years Carers NSW conducts a statewide survey of carers to better understand what carers in NSW want and need. In the most recent survey, carers were found to continue to experience lower levels of health and wellbeing than the general population.
To help improve the experience of family/friends and carers, Ken Lee, Manager Carers, Disability and Community Consultation has developed the ‘Information for Carers’ booklet with information on the “who,” “what” and “why” of our local health services.
The booklet also contains information to support carers in their caring role and with their personal wellbeing. It is available to carers, health services and the services that support carers and can be ordered through Ken. For more information please contact Ken.
